Some news that’s old but great to hear none the less. DraftSight, Dassault Systemes free 2D CAD tool, has graduated from Beta release.


Combining DraftSights no cost of ownership and multi platform capabilities it’s a no brainer when it comes to helping you work on any myriad of 2D needs you might have, not to forget the ability of working with legacy 2D drawings you might have from previous CAD systems prior to upgrading to SolidWorks.

 

Taking into account that DraftSight is developed around a community of users and will allow expansion via the DraftSight App Store hosted by Graebert, it’s an exciting time for users of 2D CAD who are looking to an alternative to meet their needs.
